Emiliano Poloni is an Italian science fiction writer.
He is a husband, a father, and a pilot. He grew up in a small town in the plains near Bergamo, where as a child he would watch airplane contrails crossing the sky, wondering what it must feel like, up there, to look down at the world from above. At sixteen he left home to pursue flight, beginning a long and far from linear path that first led him into the Italian Air Force and later into commercial aviation. Today he flies large aircraft, in environments where responsibility, control, and human error are not abstract ideas, but part of everyday life.

Writing has always accompanied him. Whenever he imagines a story, it inevitably drifts toward the fantastic and the supernatural. Science fiction becomes the most natural language through which to give shape to his imagination and to question consciousness, identity, and the consequences of choice. Not as an escape, but as a narrative space where deeply human questions can be taken to their extreme.

From this need was born EP Stories, the narrative universe through which he develops stories that share the same worldview, even as characters and settings change. A creative container designed to tell stories in which choices carry real weight and consequences cannot be avoided.

With Dream Loop, Emiliano Poloni gives full form to this path, opening a narrative project intended to expand over time.
